Evenly spaced errors in chunks

Thu Jul 27, 2006 10:25 pm
I've been having problems with my torrents lately... They'll successfully download, but when I go to unrar them, I'll get errors. I went into ktorrent and checked the file integrity, and got a bunch of errors.

I allowed the program to redownload these bad chunks, and it still won't work. Still bad. The weird thing is, these errors aren't randomly placed. They're all evenly spaced. I've got a screenshot here, so you can see what I mean:

Check the "chunks" section at the bottom. These gaps will always be bad... no matter how many times I download the torrent.

Does anybody have any ideas? I'm using the latest version of ktorrent that's available for download on this site.
