It used to work fine when I first installed ktorrent. I removed ktorrentrc and the ktorrent folder from my home folder in hopes of restoring default settings but the program still crashes.

Anyone know how to prevent this?

Ktorrent version 1.2 on KDE 3.3.2, Slackware 10.1.

That stuff is entirely done by KDE libraries, and seeing that it doesn't crash on KDE 3.5.2, I think this bug is allready fixed. If you upgrade KDE, it should be gone.
