First off, i'd like to say how much i love ktorrent!
Now, there are a couple of suggestions of changes i believe should be made to ktorrent in order to make it a better client.

1-Instead of showing downlaoded data being the total of data downloaded i believe it should be split into two different numbers this way. DL (TDL) DL being the data downloaded without the discarded data and TDL the total downloaded data. For example, after downloading a 100MB file in which ktorrent got 20 MB of bad data it should show "100 (120)" I hope that was clear enough... i know im terrible explaining

2-More detailed information on tracker errors, not just OK and Unreachable. Id like to see more information about what the actuall error was such as "torrent not registered with tracker" "invalid passkey" "ip not registered with tracker" "port blacklisted" etc etc....

3-Global statistics. Its kinda useless but i think it would be cool if ktorrent saved statistics of how much it downloaded/uploaded since it was installed, and maybe how many torrents completed etc etc...

I would also like to ask if theres any way to change the icons in kTorrent since im not oo fond of them and would like to replace them... Thank you for taking my suggestions into consideration and keep up the awesome work youre doing!

Not a bad idea to add this.

We could add it, but it would be really low on our list of priorities.

You can just replace the png files in apps/ktorrent. You need to use the same names and make sure that sizes of the icons match the name of the png.
