Requests / suggestions

I just love ktorrent
I have windows and linux, but no bittorrent client on windows because I love ktorrent so much! :)

Currently, I have a computer on my network that is my "torrents server", which allows me to have 1 bittorrent client for X users, instead of each user having it's own client (simpler to controll bandwith hehe)
What that means? It's a linux box (Slax) with 2 shared directories: the /downloads/requests and /downloads/finished
From the other PCs (some windows others linux) I just dump the .torrent files in the /downloads/requests and they will appear in the /downloads/finished when they are done downloading.
This is done with ktorrent and it's wonderfull "ScanFolder" feature.

I use mostly bash scripts to controll ktorrent, because I belive some usefull options are missing from the GUI
    * Default "share ratio" for new torrents. We can only set this manualy to each torrent after we add/open one
    * Auto-removing a torrent when "completed". I mean, we could download a torrent, when finished have it seed till 1.5 ratio, and then remove it.

Also, one thing puzzles me: the ktorrent data directories...
There is a "temporary files" folder, and a "save downloads to" folder, but the temp folder only has links to the files on the finished folder :(
I mean... the temporary files are actualy stored on the finished files folder, while the torrent is downloading!
I use a bash script to get arround this as well: the files only get moved to /downloads/finished when they are 100% downloaded and removed from ktorrent.

That's planned.

We could add this (don't ask me when, so many feature requests, so little time ...)

By temporary files we do not mean data, we mean the files we use to keep track of the status of a torrent. Originally it meant the incomplete data, but that has changed.

Thx for the info :)
One last thing (I almost forgot) How far down in the ToDo list is RSS-feed support?
I use TED ( www.ted.nu ) with ktorrent and works great, but it's java
