I am seeding two same torrents with the same data (both with private flag) on two private trackers, but one of the trackers was reconfigured for using PID... just story then I loaded new .torrent file for it and it merged both private trackers! I can be banned for this from both trackers!
so I deleted it and import it again but it is merged again, so I can seed only to one tracker now
I have lost all torrent statistics in gui too, but it is not pain

If the torrents have the same info hash, they are the same. There is nothing we can do about that. I'm not sure if the trackers can figure out that you are sharing with two separate private trackers.

Though, we could disable the tracker list merging for private trackers.

Hmm, yeah but they also say that disabling DHT is for your own good (ratio), while in my view they just should force torrents to be private if they want that kind of forced ratio. It's in their interest to leave some information out here and there, probably easier too when people don't know the reality.

I think what i am saying is that i don't take everthing they say as knowlegde. But yeah, some trackers are very "private" and want to be the best tracker and like it as closed and private as possible. I think it's not only a question whether this is tracable or not, but also one of do we want te respect those trackers view.

Speaking of it, wasn't the private flag originally meant to only get DHT out of the game? Now it's suddenly used for keeping a selected few trackers private in a swarm too. Hmm, hmm, it's not that KTorrent let's you edit a private torrent, it only merges if the hash is the same...

I felt little bit stressed at that moment... brain malfunction? they say that they can figure if torrent is created for more than their own tracker (trackers added at creation process), I thought that it is the same if trackers are merged, I am afraid of sending this data to tracker, so if you are saying that it couldn't happened so I should, no, I would to beleave you

We should most definitely do this ASAP.

We don't modify the torrents and even if we would, the tracker people would not get there hands on it.

I got 3x this message: "You are already downloading this torrent, the list of trackers of both torrents has been merged." every time I start ktorrent (I restarted ktorrent couples of hours after I tried to import torrents two or more times to be separated, but they didn't)

so I deleted the merged torrent and quit ktorrent, there was only 2x notice "You already..." and the deleted torrent was active and seeding at the start moment, I deleted it once more and restart, there was only 1x "You already..." and seeding then, I deleted it and restart and now is seeding at start moment only with one tracker configured
