Hi. I'll try this tonight. Set it to download three TV-seriers which should be released during the night. Hope it'll work! Thanks for the plug-in (i requested it when ktorrent was still at 1.-something) :)

I added a bug report some time ago, but nothing happened (ok, e-mail-address was changed).

I believe the plugin is being restructured to better handle odd rss feeds, and not using kio to grab the feeds and torrents.

Might be a little while till its done :)

Good to see there is progress with this plug-in.

By the way, is there a way to disable the "select files"-dialogue from popping up? Since torrents grabbed by the RSS-feed might be uploaded in the middle of the night I want them to start download then, not when I wake up and click "ok" :)

Hi. As I said I tested with three TV shows tonight. All three were released, but none downloaded in KTorrent, even though the filters matched. The episodes appear in the torrent-list from the feed in the "feeds"-tab, and manually clicking "download" works.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have assigned myself to the OpenOffice feed bug logged and taken a look at it.

I believe the problem is related to using kio to grab torrents and so it should be resolve in the rewrite I'm working of on the download management.

The problem with matches being found and not downloaded was a bug that was introduced into the loadSilently function. Jorge has got that one sorted so if you grab the latest SVN you should find the downloads working again.

The dialogue only pops up when you press the download button in the interface. Any automatic downloads are done silently to stop the dialogue from causing problems.

Will post back here as I get more things fixed.

Cheers,

Alan.

Hi, Alan

I'll check out the newest version from svn. I did this yesterday though, so unless the issue was fixed in the last 24 hours, it probably isn't working. :)

Edit: As usual, I should have read the SVN logs before asking. The bug was fixed 17 hours ago.

Hi again All,

I've just finished an initial rewrite of the download handling - so now it should be much nicer.

Moshroum - this rewrite appears to have fixed your bug with the openoffice feeds - it downloaded them all successfully here (man did that send my machien psycho initially - that was a lot of torrents ;-) )

I've also put in place some improvements to the episode number detection, but it may get some wrong ones still. I don't think it'll ever be possible to get rid of them all while still allowing for number only episodes i.e. 301 etc.

Anyway - let me know if you find anything else. I've had a bit of a look at demonoid support - still trying to get that working - it seemed like it was initally until I realised it was just allowing the first three while counting me as an unregistered user.

Cheers,

Alan.

Not really, but I attached a patch to the bug report.

PS: Try to use the filter I used in my bug report (not .*) and say me why there are matches with netherland stuff. Maybe I will have a look at it too, but at the moment I have different stuff to do :x

Hi Moshroum,

I just tried it with 591547 and I'm only getting the german openoffice binaries - could you check if you're still getting the error with the latest svn?

Cheers,

Alan.

Now I started it with a very stubid accept filter "ajfdhvbak m+asfmj nasdujfnja+sdf nja+osdjna sdjfs d". It is the only accept filter so nothing should be added...but after I restarted ktorrent I get some 2.0.4rc2/rc3 results. It also dont remove the unneeded (non matching stuff) when I change the filter to something like "_de" (press process) and back.

Hi Moshroum,

I haven't stored all the details (Title and Description) with the match - so I haven't put in place anything to remove old matches which no longer meet the requirements when it's updated - i.e. it keeps a full history of anything which ever matched.

I'll at least add a delete button so you can remove them (this will also enable the downloading of an episode again if you're unhappy with the match). I'll look into keeping details with the history though I don't think I'll have an automatic non-matching history removal, but may add a button so you can have it clean the history.

Cheers,

Alan.

I accidentally added the same torrent twice (got info, that trackers were merged). Then, when I switched to torrent list, to see if really there's the same tracker added two times, I got crash:

Also, RSSFeed should check, if tracker is on the list, not only torrent. Now I have listed twice the same tracker...

@skyphyr, the clear functionality is a good idea. But the rc2/3 torrents are also there when I restart ktorrent. Maybe I will look at the regexp stuff later

@cyrylas, are you using the newest svn stuff? I filled a bug about such stuff some time ago and it should be fixed now.
