[request?] UPnP reset

Sat Oct 07, 2006 4:51 am
Today I had a bit of a power-outage. My router went down, but my KTorrent computer didn't. Eventually, it reconnected and continued the torrents, all quite nicely. Except for one thing. The UPnP was "lost" by the router (no kidding).

It'd be nice if there were a way, even in the settings for UPnP, to tell it to re-register with the router. This would be useful for power outages, or router resets, or whatever.

It'd be really neat if KTorrent's UPnP plugin could figure this was required on its own, but that might be asking a bit much ;-)

As it was, I just had to shut down KTorrent and restart it.

(Using latest from SVN as of just a day or two ago.)

You can undo the forwarding and then forward the ports again.
