Official packages for Kubuntu Dapper 6.06LTS are available in the dapper-backports repository. If you do not use this repository, you may still get the debs from http://packages.ubuntu.com/dapper-backp ... t/ktorrent. They are almost identical to the packages I've submitted to ktorrent.org, so there is no need to re-download the package if you've already obtained it from ktorrent.org.

I am aware that no PPC package is available yet, because somehow the PPC build is misbehaving (it runs an extra autotools on itself). This is not the GCC flags bug, that patch has been applied already. We are working on getting that bug fixed: https://launchpad.net/products/dapper-b ... +bug/66846
