at the time, I had like 20 ish upload slots on the slackware DVD and was uploading to 14 people
right at the moment, I still have 20ish upload slots on and it seems more under control bouncing around 5 to 8 uploads, with it set to only have 4 uploads in preferences. does an upload slot not count if the KB under a set amount? I have screen shots if you would like to see them Ridgid |

I'm thinking this is the allowed fast feature of the fast extensions where you can upload to a peer even if you have choked him. This features allows you to send a set of chunks to another peer, the other peer can allways ask for these chunks, even if you have choked him (so he doesn't have an upload slot). However this seems to have largely disappeared from the fast extensions spec. So I'm thinking about ditching it. |
