Just so that I can get a better picture, what are the roadmap(s) for KTorrent 2.0.x vs KTorrent 2.1?

Are there any plans for more 2.0.x releases? Like more of the recent SVN work towards smoother upload/download speeds, and also the new tracker announce interval behavior?

Or is a 2.1 release coming up soon?

Sometime earlier, George and I agreed that 2.0.2 is the last from 2.0 series but speed improvement made us release 2.0.3 which I think will be the last for 2.0. We've also agreed that we should release somewhat more often than before, but since we made some major changes (like IDEAl style and grouping) we'll need some time to make it usable enough. I can't tell when will v2.1 be ready. Maybe George can estimate this time better.

I'm seeing a 2.1 beta release maybe in 3 weeks, and then a couple of weeks after that a 2.1rc1 and then maybe 2 weeks later 2.1 final. But this all depends on how much time we have and how many bugs are found.

I had originally hoped to have 2.1 out by early october, but that was to ambitious.

KDE4 will certainly influence things after 2.1, at some point we will have to start porting to KDE4, which will be a big operation.
