I just updated my ktorrent installation to current trunk, and I have some problems with the new UI.

First, when showing the search sidebar, the ktorrent window becomes too wide on my 1024x768 screen. The minimum size of the window is about 1040 pixels then. Using a vertical kicker, that's 100 pixels more than screen estate. It would become even worse if I used larger fonts (using Arial, which is quite narrow compared to sans serif oss fonts).

Also, the UI becomes too complex for my taste. Before, there were only horizontal tabs. Now there are vertical tabs, the sidebar and horizontal tabs. When using the RSS plugin, there are horizontal tabs nested in horizontal tabs. Please rethink this.

Maybe we need to make the search a bit smaller, or move it to the bottom next to the logging plugin.

As for the RSS plugin, I need to discuss this with Alan (the guy who wrote the plugin).
