the information plugin turned on i can see that all my peers receive "points", how are they constructed and what do they tell me!? a quick search didn't help me. am i supposed to ban those with "-50 points"?

Score is calculated from several peer stats, I don't remember for sure without checking. If you want to know exactly you can look at the advanced choking algorithm source code.

Anyway, you should not ban any user according to their score. For example, what you mentioned -50 score is probably some peer that is not interested for downloading from you but it can give you high download speed rates. Low score just means KT won't give him upload slot.
