Torrent at 100% but individual file(s) not finished

Hi,

I'm running the following ktorrent build for ubuntu.
ktorrent_2.1~0dev+svn20061116-1~6.06prevu1_i386.deb

I think I found a bug with this build.

I often start a torrent (ex. a bunch of audio files) and I'll just select a song or two to check the quality of some of the individual files.

In the main torrent window, the torrent will eventually reach 100%, but some of the individual, (selected for download) files are not 100%. They are stuck in the high 90s%. But they won't complete for some reason. So I'll uncheck the stuck files and recheck them, and then they usually finish up. I noticed too that when I uncheck a file that's stuck, the torrent in the main window will come back down to the high 90s% and the file will finish.

Otherwise, I am loving Ktorrent. I was using Azureus for a while, but what a hog!

Keep up the great work and let me know if I can provide any more info.

It seems you are correct, there appears to be a small bug where the status of a chunk is not properly set. Deselecting and selecting again then sets the status of that chunk correct and then KT downloads it.

Does ktorrent have a bug tracker? I could file a report.

Thanks,

Probably the KDE bug tracking system. Just select "ktorrent" as product when filing bugs.

Thank you KTorrent developers! :)

Allright it is fixed, it was a rather stupid bug which resulted in the wrong priority being set for some chunks which were part of multiple files.

Hey,
Just compiled and installed the 25-11-2006 dev version.
Still does not fully download all the selected files in a torrent, when it says it's finished in the main window.

If that package date is correct, then George fixed this bug after 25-11 SVN snapshot was created. Any chance you could try the latest SVN?
