I'm translating Ktorrent to catalan and I would ask you about a string.

"Open Directory..." is a proper name like Open Directory Project or is a normal directory like the temp directory?

I'm not sure which "Open directory" string are you referring to, but I'm certain that we don't have "Open directory project" kind of strings so I guess that would be a 'normal' directory.

I translate too so i looked and it was easy to verify.

There is only one "Open Directory..." in the po file, and that is for the right click on torrent-> "Open Directory...". There are two extra options after that menu, one for temp folder and one for save location.

So it is not a location at all, just a menu to get to a choice which either allows you to open the temp folder or the save location folder.

The "Open" in "Open Directory..." seems to be a verb, not a name or noun.
