Hi,
Is there an option (if not could it be added?) that will allow me to stop ktorrent from reserving the disk space when I add a new torrent to download?
There is this large torrent that I only want a few smaller files from, I selected those, and have only enough free space on that partition for them, but ktorrent tried to reserve the disk space for the full torrent, and causes ktorrent to crash.

Hi,
Back using a Mandriva binary version 2.0.2
Not having that problem with that version.
Maybe somethin happened when I compiled it?
I am a newbie to Linux.

One other thing tho, while I was trying if that version would not have the problem, i selected one file from a large torrent, downloaded no problem and never used up more drive space than it should of. So I selected another file from the same torrent I wanted. It nicely moved it back to the download tab, but it now says -22.22% total complete.

And dont thing this is an issue but there are 45 seeders and 200 leechers, and something is downloading ktorrent says and it usin most of my bandwidth. but the 2nd file that I seleted is sitting at 0% and has been for about an hour. Think thats maybe a bug or me being stupid? Mean I am getting downloads from the seeders, but just not for ma selected file.

I'm confused lol. What exactly is ktorrent downloading? Coz my file still sitting at 0.00%

Thanks all!

mcv.
