SVN r617894 build failure

Sun Dec 31, 2006 2:21 am
Just a heads-up, my automated SVN build scripts logged a build failure today attempting to build r617894 on Dapper and Edgy. The error seems to be introduced with the zeroconf stuff:

Code: Select all
compiling ./plugins/zeroconf/ktzeroconfplugin_la_all_cpp.cpp
i486-linux-gnu-g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I./plugins/zeroconf -I/var/cache/prevu/src/19290/source/plugins/zeroconf -I. -I./libktorrent -I./ktorrent/libktorrent -I/usr/include/kde -I/usr/share/qt3/include -I. -I/var/cache/prevu/src/19290/source/plugins/zeroconf/../../libktorrent -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -D_REENTRANT -Wno-long-long -Wundef -ansi -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 -D_BSD_SOURCE -Wcast-align -Wconversion -Wchar-subscripts -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -O2 -Wformat-security -Wmissing-format-attribute -Wno-non-virtual-dtor -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -fexceptions -fPIC -DPIC -c ./plugins/zeroconf/ktzeroconfplugin_la_all_cpp.cpp -o ./plugins/zeroconf/.libs/ktzeroconfplugin_la_all_cpp.o -Wp,-MD,./plugins/zeroconf/.deps/ktzeroconfplugin_la_all_cpp.TUlo
./plugins/zeroconf/localbrowser.h:35: error: redefinition of 'std::list<bt::PeerID, std::allocator<bt::PeerID> > LocalBrowser::local_peers'
./plugins/zeroconf/localbrowser.h:35: error: 'std::list<bt::PeerID, std::allocator<bt::PeerID> > LocalBrowser::local_peers' previously declared here
Error creating ./plugins/zeroconf/ktzeroconfplugin_la_all_cpp.lo. Exit status 1.
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 1

I don't know if this is a KTorrent sourcecode problem or my packaging problem, as I haven't added any zeroconf/avahi header packages to the build environment (do I need to? Is avahi a requirement now?)

You are using --enable-final, which is probably the cause of the problem. It shouldn't be much trouble to fix.

EDIT: it's fixed
