KTorrent 2.1rc1, compiled from official src on fc6.
LOCALE set RU
At WebUI don't write correct letters at header and at main lists.
When I get Array globalinfo(), found, that upload_speed & download_speed return number with unit, but in Cyrillic.
BUG is in bad print Cyrillic symbols.
And... bad view at Firefox 2.0.0.1
Sorry for my bad English.

I had svn 240307 and this bug is still present. Now it's impossible to distinguish kb from Mb and from Gb.
IMHO, the best way to fix it is using english units instead of localized ones.

Guys, this bug still exists in 2.2.2!
Will it ever be fixed?
My locale is RU_ru.KOI8-R

Ok, I installed ktorrent from svn using ebuild posted on this site but nothing's changed. Is there an option to choose or set locale somwhere?

Oh... There's no internationalization yet, I guess, so the abbreviations KB/s and GB looks OK, but not the file names:
ëÃË ÕËÒÃÓÔØ ÃÉÌÌÉÃÃŽ 1966Ç.avi
instead of
Как украсть миллион 1966г.avi

I got the similar problem. But with client, not website.
It seems ktorrent handles all torrent as utf-8 encoding? I got several torrent, when using azureus to open, it will ask me about the correct encoding, mostly GBK for me(in China). But ktorrent won't, and take their filename mostly as a hand of little square.
Is there anyway proposed to solve it? Maybe a plugin?
Thanks for your guys' effect on ktorrent.

Yes, all strings in a torrent file, should be UTF-8, unless a different encoding is specified. If this is not specified then it is a bad torrent.

Hm, in case of torrent with bad informations, it's name should looks weird. By numbers? These should look fine I think.
