Howdy, praise to the developers of ktorrent!
I regularly download the SVN snapshots of ktorrent. Recently the compilation process aborts. After successful configuration ('./configure --without-arts --prefix=/home/blablabla/bin/ktorrent30122006') the make process won't start but spits the following out: WARNING: use unsermake instead of make or use a wrapper script, e.g. makeobj!!! /home/joris/ktorrent/unsermake/unsermake all make: /home/joris/ktorrent/unsermake/unsermake: Command not found make: *** [all] Error 127 This happens for all SVN snapshots from 30-12-2006 or later. Strange thing is, I can compile everything else on my shiny gentoo box. Any suggestions? Cheers, Jochen.

Hi George,
thing is, it used automake to build. Including SVN snapshots up until 23-12-2006 I could build ktorrent. But after that date the described error appears. Since I can compile everything else on my system (my own stuff, kernel, portage updates compile fine) the question arises: is my system borked (I don't think so) or are the svn snapshots? Thanks in advance, Jochen. |

We switched admin dir to the latest from the KDE 3.5 dir after the 23-12-2006 build. It worked when I tested it with automake & co. Wait, it's actually complaining it cannot find unsermake where I have put it on my computer ... There should be a directory named autom4te.cache Delete this and rerun make -f Makefile.cvs and ./configure |

Hi George,
thanks, deleting that directory and recreating the Makefile did the job. Ktorrent compiled flawlessly. Bye, Jochen. |
