I'm running the latest KTorrent SVN's with ZeroConf and IPFilter turned on, and I've found that some time around RC1, stopping torrents causes KTorrent to crash.

It's happened about 5 times now, like 50-50 frequency. But the most recent times it's happened I was on a system without GDB, so I couldn't generate a meaningful backtrace. I will post one if I get one.

Basically, start 2 or 3 torrents, let KTorrent run for 5 minutes, then stop all the torrents one-by-one. Then, start them up again, and repeat. Soon, clicking on Stop will cause KTorrent to crash.

Do I need to recompile KTorrent in debugging mode to get meaningful output?

It seems to happen when you are shutting down, looking at the trace.

I'll see if I can reproduce it.

I just fixed a crash with the zeroconf plugin crashing, so this could be related, though I'm not sure. Could you try with the very latest code ?

Ok, the crashing appears to have stopped. You know I won't keep my mouth shut if it crashes again
