Anyway, I saw your other post about the crashes and your weird backtrace that led us to believe you have a libraries version mismatch. Now here's another weird thing possibly related to that problem (installing). My suggestion is that you first run 'unsermake uninstall', then use your package manager to remove old ktorrent package (if any) and finally search your KDE installation dir for prefix 'kt' and delete everything related to ktorrent. That would include plugins, libraries, rc file, desktop files etc... After all this, try to install the latest SVN again. I really hope this would help... |

Thanks for your reply, Ivan. What I ended up doing was using dpkg to remove the ktorrent package, then I used locate to look for ktorrent files and found that they had all been removed, including libktorrent. Then I installed the 2.1rc1 package I built a while back, and now everything is fine. Soon I will try building the latest SVN rev again and see what happens.
