Here's the scenario: The torrent completed downloading, and now I'm finished with the data file. I don't want to delete the data file until it's seeded to a 1:1 ratio, but I want to move the file to a different directory to separate it from other data files I'm not finished with yet. I'd like to move it to a subdirectory of its current location, but then KTorrent will say that the data file is missing. It would be nice if KTorrent would search in subdirectories of the data file's previous location, find a file with the same filename, and run a data check on it to make sure it's the same, then use it just like it had never been moved.
This would be extremely useful. Please add it. |

Agree, right now I've got a lot of files I want to move but can't because I want them to seed too a good ratio. |

Stop them, move the files and use a symlink to the new location, then cross your fingers and restart. |
