I'm using Debian testing/unstable, installing KTorrent SVN builds with checkinstall, using $(sudo checkinstall --fstrans=no --strip=no --stripso=no unsermake install). This seems to work fine, however I just noticed a strange problem: on the first run it installs one set of files, but on the second run it installs a different set of files. Installing a third time installs the first set again, and installing a fourth time installs the second set again.
When I say that files are installed, I'm referring to what the $(unsermake install) command installs, not to what checkinstall does. This seems really strange. Here are some examples of the install outputs. First run:
