A request for inclusion in the backports repositories is under way (https://bugs.launchpad.net/edgy-backports/+bug/83554), which means official Edgy and Dapper packages will be available in about a week. In the meantime, here are backports that I've personally built. If you use them, please provide some feedback as to how well they function.
