I'm new to torrents in general and ktorrent in particular, so maybe there is a way of doing this already.

I think it would be great if, rather than setting individual share ratios, there could be one that worked for all torrents. Maybe there could be an option to tweak individual share ratios afterwards.

It could work in one of two ways: The global share ratio looks at your entire ktorrent usage history (which would want a reset option), or it looks at this session.

Is this a possibility?
Anyway, I like ktorrent very much, so thanks to everyone involved, and please keep up the good work.

There is a way to set a default share ratio, but this is not for all torrents combined.

It isn't that important, but I thought it would be nice, since I have limited bandwidth, to be able to upload an download torrents in the exact ratio to use all my bandwidth by the end of the month, but making sure I get my stuff. I'm not being entirely clear, I know, but this is because the exact feature I was describing is not really finished in my head.
