My KTorrent 2.1 (Kubuntu 7.04) won't fetch any items from the folowing feed:
http://tvrss.net/search/index.php?show_ ... e&mode=rss

I generally have some trouble with all the other tvrss.net feeds, but rssfeedplugin does at least fetch some of the items in the feed, but not all, it seems like it only struggles with tvrss.net feeds.

I understand that when I add a feed to rssfeedplugin, it should list all it's items inside the "Articles" area irregardless of the filters. Is this right?

I've tried to set logviewerplugin to output all rssfeedplugin logs, but it seems like rssfeedplugin doesn't output any log messages at all.

I've installed the ktorrent in the Ubuntu Feisty repos, I haven't added anything to it.

Hi SlimG,

I'll have a look at that - the combined feed for tvrss definitely works (never had it miss anything on there).

Will do a test on the search based one.

Cheers,

Alan.

Same on all feeds I've tested on ShareTV.org. Fetches some entries, seemingly random.
KTorrent 2.1 on Kubuntu Feisty.

Hi All,

I've taken a look - it appears to be because of the age of the items.

Unfortunately the maximum it can be set to is 99 days (unintentional on my part - just it's the default for the number entry with the up and down arrows).

I'm increasing it so you can set it to a maximum of 3650 days (10 years) - once I've tested it this will be in svn. Should be within an hour or two.

Cheers,

Alan.

Just thought I should let you know the update is there now.

Also added bittorrent enclosure support so it takes less time to grab the torrent and start for feeds supporting it now.

Cheers,

Alan.

Maby the "Keep Articles (days)" should be changed to "Keep Articles (amount)" ?

Hi SlimG,

That's a pretty neat idea - when I redo the file format to XML in a future version I'll put two options - one for days and one for amount - setting to 0 will mean unlimited.

Cheers,

Alan.
