Hi guys,
You know that "Parts of the torrent which are available" section on the info widget? Why not, instead of (or in addition to) showing what's available from everyone, simple show what's available from leechers and seeds who aren't seeding the whole torrent (i.e. someone's seeding, but only has half the torrent and isn't downloading the rest - or are they counted as leechers still?) Displaying what is shared by seeders seems a tad redundant. I don't nkow how hard this would be (I've never really looked into the source, so I don't know how it handles that). Any problems with that? |

There is no way to make a distinction between the leechers and peers seeding only a part of the torrent.
This bar shows what chunks are available, if not all chunks are available, most people would like to know that. |

Okay, so then here's my proposal:
The "Available parts of the torrent" should not include peers who are seeding the whole torrent (so that the user can see what is available from other leechers). This way, if a user is connected to a seed, he/she still knows what everyone else has. Alternatively, how about a (Azureus-like) per-peer availability bar in the peers tab? |

Oh, yes. But what about when leechers together have chunks which form another copy?
It's not that important or very needed, just lengau reminded me of that one Azureus' feature (it's called "Availability" there, I think). Even if you have only leechers in the seed and they do own a full copy, you will see it on the meter showing available parts, isn't that right? |

Yeah, if all leechers combined have all the data and there are no seeders, the availability bar will be full. |
