For example;

07. Wolfram DER Spyra - Bath.flac
01. Wolfram DER Spyra - Test Transmission.flac
03. Wolfram DER Spyra - a Seven Letter Word.flac
05. Wolfram DER Spyra - XyloCity Part I.flac
08. Wolfram DER Spyra - Temporarily Not Available.flac
04. Wolfram DER Spyra - Three Players in an Artificial Landscape.flac
06. Wolfram DER Spyra - XyloCity Part II.flac
02. Wolfram DER Spyra - Entropy Is Just ....flac

Loading this torrent in KTorrent freezes the app; after killing it, and starting it again, the torrent appears in the list, and the info plugin displays the following file list:

Opening this torrent with the "import existing download" plugin (since I already downloaded it with µTorrent+WINE) gives the error "Cannot verify data : Cannot read from /data/music/FAX/Wolfram DER Spyra/Spyra - Invisible Fields/" at 88% where it encounters that file.

Looks like it's trying to traverse directories... or something similar...

Works fine in µTorrent.

I have found several other torrents that exhibit the same behovior: they all have at least one file with ".." in the file name.

This is appears to be a duplicate of http://ktorrent.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1486.

Thank you KTorrent developers! :)

I don't see anything in that post that points to them being the same issue...

Did you read the whole thing? Pictures don't always say everything...

Ohyeah, sorry. Anyway just to clear up - I also experienced the problem you have. And when George wrote "OK it is fixed" in that topic, the following SVN commit was made:

r651343 | guisson | 2007-04-07 14:45:15 +0300 (Sat, 07 Apr 2007) | 1 line
Fixed bug which caused files with .. in their path to be handled improperly

It fixed the bug in the topic I mentioned and another (this) bug also. I was supposed to file the other bug, but since it already got fixed I didn't bother. Sorry, I mistakengly thought that I also mentioned this issue in there. In terms of short-time memory I've got fish brains.

Anyway, I think this is already fixed in SVN. The screenshot and the error from verifying the data are also what I previously experienced.

Thank you KTorrent developers! :)
