Hello,

It's been a while I'm using ktorrent, but for some time (2-3 weeks) I cannot use it anymore to download torrents.
Here is what I have
Code: Select all
[radu@kyle ~]$ ktorrent --version
Qt: 3.3.8
KDE: 3.5.6
KTorrent: 2.1.3

And here is a screenshot of the error:

And the last fact and an important thing is that I can download the torrents using other clients, so I don't know what could be wrong.

I've been getting an error similar to the one you describe, although I can't be sure because the picture isn't loading.

I've been looking for where ktorrent stores all its configuration files, and somehow I can't find it because it doesn't seem to be in the usual place. Any help would be appreciated, and the next time it does this I'll be posting the message here. Because it usually only does it after a crash, and I think it's trying to load some of its torrent files, and somehow those are corrupt. I'd rather just get what I can and forget about the other files until they fix this bug.

I think it's related to automatic integrity checks, but I can't be sure because it does it while I'm away from the computer.

I know this isn't the help forum, but I just thought I'd add to RaisedFist's post. He doesn't seem to be the only person who is having this problem.

Thanks!
