I've been using kTorrent for quite some time now, but a while back now, John Dong started creating packages for Ubuntu.
Now I don't mind compiling from source, but I really wanted to thank John for the time he puts into creating these packages, as it makes my life a hell of a lot easier. So yes, THANKYOU! Your work is greatly appreciated by myself, and I expect many others. --Sev

You're absolutely welcome; I'm happy to know that people benefit from these packages.
Currently I'm working on getting 2.1.4 into the Gutsy development branch, and then providing 2.1.4 as official backports to Dapper, Edgy, and Feisty. At the same time, I have already gone through KTorrent 2.1's SVN branch and isolated 10 or so crasher/data corruption patches that I am submitting for feisty-updates, so non-Backports users can even enjoy non-crashy KTorrent in Feisty. Cheers and enjoy KTorrent! |
