I'm using 2.1.4 and am currently downloading with 130kb/s, 100mb to go and apparently the time left is 52mins. That's quite incorrect.
Considering that 130kb/s roughly equals 7.6mb/min =>100mb=13mins.

ktorrent doesn't use an estimator based on current speed - it uses different algorithms for different phases, methinks.

You can choose estimator's algorithm in the svn version.

It depends on the algorithm, I'm not really sure which was used before we added the algorithm selection in the SVN version.

Seems like the 'Time Left' is/was calculated using the average down speed.
Remaining: 42mb, Average Down Speed: 4.5, Time Left: 2:39
42mb/(4.5kb/s•60s/1024kb)=159min=2:39

Could a column "Remaining" be implemented where Remaining := Size-Downloaded?
