SVN repository changes

Sun Jun 03, 2007 10:59 am
There have been some changes in the KDE svn repository, as of now all extragear applications for KDE 3 have been moved from trunk/extragear to branches/extragear/kde3 . Only KDE 4 apps are now in trunk/extragear.

This means that ktorrent can now be found under the following path :

branches/extragear/kde3/network/ktorrent

So anybody using the SVN version will need to checkout a fresh copy with this path

svn Path for Makefile.cvs

Tue Jun 05, 2007 5:07 am
The Path for the Makefile.cvs have changed too.

Getting the latest ktorrent Code from svn:
Code: Select all
svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/extragear/kde3/network/ktorrent
cd ktorrent
svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/KDE/3.5/kde-common/admin/
svn cat svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/extragear/kde3/network/Makefile.cvs > Makefile.cvs

It seems in the Frequently Asked Questions
the Line with Makefile.cvs need a little update.

Indeed, KDE4 uses a totally different build system which doesn't need an admin dir or Makefile.cvs

EDIT: website fixed

Not at the moment, seeing that the KDE3 version has been put on low priority, it doesn't make much sense to generate a snapshot which is exactly the same as last week.

The weekly snapshots will be revived after the first alpha release for KDE4
