Hello!

It would be great if KTorrent will have not only buttons "pause all torrents" "resume all torrents" for quick torrent bandwidth limitiaion but also buttons for real speed limitiation. Like put speed limitation options from Preferences menu to main panel. Or make like in d4x switch on main panel between speed limitations profiles: "full speed", "speed 1", "speed 2"...

It also be better to have ability to set upload/download speed limitation for each torrent.

Thanks!

P.S. KTorrent is the best! May be not now but in near future it will be!

try rightclicking tray icon and set speed rapidly there, or right klick the torrent to do that thing per torrent

Engine

This seems like another request that seems like it could be solved by a simple scripting engine
Code: Select all
$maxGlobalDown=50;
$maxGlobalUp=40;

but that's just my opinion, and I believe the original post is about upload and download speeds being changed quickly, in the spirit of lazyness or speed, not that it cannot be done.[/code]

I was looking though the KDE 4 docs and it seems they have added some sort of scripting engine called kross, which allows you to easily make your app scriptable via python or ruby.

So there is a good chance we will be adding support for this, but obviously we first need to port things before we can add stuff like this.
