That's the second time I noticed something wrong with diskspace check.

My main hdd has failed, I'm currently on a backup hdd and thus strive for free space ;-)

If I download a big torrent (bigger than my free space) and check only few files (which should fit properly), KTorrent complains that it won't fit. When I force it, even with only those few files selected, it proceeds as if it wanted to download whole torrent (downloads chunks of non-selected files, even though only those selected files are created in the filesystem).

Happened with 2.2 and svn close to 2.2 release (with full filesystem allocation set to basic).

You are right, this shouldn't happen.

EDIT: it seems file selection is broken in the selection dialog, has nothing to do with the diskspace check
