a very GOOD thing about ktorrent 2.2 is that it adds a new tracker to a torrent's tracker list when you download it anew from somewhere else. useful when a tracker site's url has changed, for example.

a BAD thing is that ktorrent forgets about all trackers except one when closed! it's a real pain in the **** when you have just updated all torrents, and the next time they're back to pointing nowhere...

i hope that my english is readable, i've been trying to translate back from german. the german translation needs to be overworked, it's kind of confusing at times.

The list of custom trackers should normally get saved at exit. And these trackers are added as custom trackers.

I will look into it.

OK, this can only happen with a private torrent, with private torrents we don't load the list of custom trackers.

I guess we can load them all the time. These merges are probably OK I guess, and you can't add trackers to private torrents anyway.

The list is saved, it just isn't loaded for private trackers.

This is fixed now, the list is now allways loaded. So tracker merges for private torrents will work now.

sorry man, it still doesn't work. trackers are merged and work fine, but as soon as i close and restart ktorrent, they are gone.

btw. the torrent details have buttons to delete, add and change trackers, but they don't work. only one that works is the refresh tracker button.

for the german translation, i'm volunteering to overwork it.

ktorrent is getting better and better.

now, after the merge tracker function works, i'd like to delete some of the old entries from the torrent's tracker list. there's a delete button, but it stays grey... would it cause you a lot of work to add some functionality to it?

On oink for example this merge of another tracker is not allowed by the user. Does KTorrent ask the user before the merges start taking place?
