We have just released the 2.2.1 version of ktorrent, this is mostly a bug fix release. The biggest bug being the file selection bug.

Debian unstable - packages in the archive; Debian testing - try getting packages from unstable; Debian stable i386 backport - ktorrent and ktorrent-dbg (only needed to debug crashes etc.). If there is demand for a stable amd64 backport, send a private forum message to MoDaX

Backports repository has official KT 2.2.1 debs for all supported Ubuntu releases across all archs.

Packages in ubuntu backports seem to include nasty Bug 148155, which is marked as fixed. Any ideas when this fix will be included or where to get the updated package?

Mandriva package are officialy avaibles for 2007.1 i586 :

i am currently using ktorrent version 2.1.3, if i upgrade, this will still be compatible right? as in.. it will remember all the torrents i have in there and such..
