Hi again, just did some more integrity checking and...
version: ktorrent 2.2.1 on kde 3.5.7, archlinux's binary package bug: if an integrity check is cancelled, bad chunks found so far are ignored and the torrent stays marked as completely clean/complete to reproduce: use a hex editor to corrupt a piece of a finished torrent. run integrity check on torrent; it will report 1 bad chunk, then cancel it before it reaches 100%. the torrent stays marked healthy. expected behaviour: torrent should be marked bad and ktorrent should refuse to do anything with it until the user runs a full integrity check. ~Felix. |

I haven't noticed it *refuse* to check large files, but it does take a very long time, during which it doesn't update the GUI very often (actually, the only part of the GUI that updates is the percentage bar, so it often looks totally locked up).
Just be patient and watch your hard drive light :) ~Felix. |
