Using KTorrent 2.2.1, KDE 3.5.7, Debian Lenny,
Hello KTorrent devs! First, I'd like to say you've done a great job with KTorrents interface lately. I think it has actually got everything one can ask for, I praticularly like the way the bottom tabs work, with the log and other plugins. But I'm afraid something happened today which means I cannot use KTorrent anymore, at least for a while. My account at BitmeTV was disabled, because apparently, KTorrent reported that I uploaded 70 MBs in less than one second. Here's something from the BitmeTV IRC channel:
Unfortunately I only logged Important messages at the time, otherwise there might have been something more useful in my log. But, at the time I think this happened, I was switching between trackers (switching between mine and my girl's accounts on the BitmeTV tracker), and I kind of clicked the Change Tracker button several times very quickly. I was uploading about 70 Kbps for that particular torrent at the time. SystemGuy said that you could pop into their IRC channel if you had questions, but also that they're a bit shorthanded right now so I'm not sure if they can be of much help. Server: irc.lostirc.org, channels #bitmetv.help and #bitmetv. If there's any other info I can provide, I'd be glad to help. Thanks again for a great client and keep up the good work. |

OK, all messages are logged by default to the log file, we also keep around the last 10 logs in ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/ (the files are named log-1.gz, log-2.gz, ...)
Can you send those to me ? Also around which time did you start pushing change tracker a lot ? The log files contain the date and the time, so knowing that, will help me a lot in finding the good place in the log file. |
