It would be nice if KTorrent can scrape trackers of stopped torrents, either periodically (like once per hour), or once per startup. In addition, if the Update Tracker item was enabled for stopped torrents, and just scrapes the tracker, that'd be great too.

I usually have a bunch of stopped or paused torrents, and I'd just like to see the # of seeds/peers on the tracker and decide if it's worth my time to start them.... Up till now I'vej ust been starting and then quickly stopping the torrent after it talked to the tracker, but a scrape would be more efficient.

Why not, I'll add it to my TODO list.

Thanks George, this is something I've been wanting for a time too, though I didn't know how it would be done nicely. Paticularly for seeding on torrents which regularly have no peers it is nice to know beforehand :)

This has been added in the KDE4 version, there is now a menu entry to do a scrape.
