Hi,

I'm using Ktorrent 2.2.1 and Kubuntu 7.04. The Info Widget (on the Peers tab) currently has no estimated download speed of other peers, which is a very nice feature and found in most other torrent clients. It would be a very cool feature. ;)

Thank you

Maybe after the port to KDE 4 is finished.

Something else for KDE4... with the advent of PEX, we should be able to figure out how many clients compatible clients know about. That sounds like fun information for statistics (i.e. how 'connected' another peer is) and might even be good information for peer prioritizing.

True, we could build a graph of who is connected to who, and then use that information during seeding. If our goal is to quickly get as much of the torrent distributed, we could choose to upload to more well connected peers, so they can spread things further.

Maybe it can even help during the download. With a less popular peer you have higher chance of getting unchoked, so it could help your download speed.
