A couple of days later then I wanted to but here is the latest bug fix release for the 2.2 series.
Downloads can be found in the usual place (http://ktorrent.org/index.php?page=downloads)

Debian testing (lenny) & unstable (sid): get packages from unstable.
Debian stable (etch): ktorrent - i386 amd64, ktorrent-dbg (for debugging only) - i386 amd64 P.S. Since now, 2.2.1 packages for debian stable (etch) have been replaced by 2.2.2 packages and are no longer available. Remove info about debian packages from 2.2.1 download section. |

@Archmage, you can try my personal DEB package for Kubuntu 7.04. It's nothing official or anything; I built it for my own use only because there was none to be found.

I don't plan on making Ubuntu packages of this until the next development repository (Hardy) opens. That is, unless someone gives me a compelling reason why it is a clear improvement over KTorrent 2.2.1 in Ubuntu (which has been patched with one backported crasher fix from SVN) Gutsy is already frozen and if serious bugs are in 2.2.1, I'd rather backport the patch which has a much better chance of getting in. Packaging things greater than Gutsy's version can lead to pretty nasty upgrade breakages so I recommend thinking carefully before using a 2.2.2 package. |

Well, I just have minor problem with the 2.2.1. I can't see the status bar, because the ktorrent-window is ALWAYS larger than my screen.
That is driving me nuts, therefore I'm hoping for the 2.2.2. As a normal user I didn't have problems with breakage. I'm always hoping that I can just use the old deb, if there is a problem with the new one. |

Is this a bug fixed in 2.2.2? If so I'd like to find the patch and get it into Ubuntu before Gutsy releases. |
