Hey guys!
I love this program! Good job. However, I've noticed what I believe to be a bug in KTorrent introduced from version 2.1.* to 2.2.1 When I download roughly ~ 7 or more torrents running at the same time, KTorrent takes up more CPU Time, in some case i've seen it go up to 75% resulting in overall poor system performance. My resolution to this problem is to revert to version 2.0.3 When I revert back and start up ktorrent again, it continues to download all the same torrents except the CPU time doesn't even approach 10%. I really like some of the new features in the newer version of ktorrent, such as the web plugin and would really like to run it, but its not worth my computer slowing down. I hope someone can take a look at this issue and recreate and resolve the problem. I'm running: Ubuntu Feisty Fawn - 32 Bit AMD Athlon XP 1800 2 GB RAM P.S. I've noticed that KTorrent version 2.2 has just been released. I will download and compile it tonight to see if the issue has been resolved. Thanks, Goodluck and keep up the goodwork! Zubin Parihar |

Load average of 0.02? You mean 2%, or 0.02%, cause if it's the latter, I'm buying a system like yours. I'm just trying to make sure I understand. KTorrent runs at about 3-5 % on my machine when chugging fully up/down. |

I think you misunderstand the term load average. This is the number in the top right corner of top, not actually processor percentage. My processor percentage hovers around 3-5%
EDIT: Edited to fix link to wikipedia
