probably you have already spotted this but the ktshell script that comes with the debian sid package has a little bug that prevents the succesfull loading of a new torrent.

The line

$ktorrent openTorrentSilently \"$tpath\"

should be changed into

$ktorrent openTorrentSilently "$tpath"


And the same goes for the line

$ktorrent changeDataDir \"$ddpath\"
