I don't think it would be possible with multi-file torrents, but at least with single file torrents it would be nice to be able to change the name of the file on disk. For example I have a file:
program.iso
I may want to change it to program.version.iso and continue seeding.
Currently the only way I see to do this is to:
* Remove the torrent from ktorrent
* Rename the file on disk
* Use the import plugin to import a completed torrent

But the downside to this is that it's slow, and I loose all the torrent information from the downloading session

Just create hard link(s) to the file(s) (using whatever name(s) you want). I do this all the time.

The idea is to not have to stop the torrents until I'm done seeding. Then just use the delete torrent option.
