I'm seeing something odd inside a batch torrent file when KTorrent 2.2.2 opens the torrent. The batch consists of 25 files, but for some reason I'm seeing an extra 24 that are listed like this:

Code: Select all
_____padding_file_0_if you see this file, please update to BitComet 0.85 or above____

These are numbered 0 through 23, and all of them are less than one megabyte in size. KTorrent even allocated files on my hard drive to match each one. Any idea what's going on here?

BTW, the torrent file uses http://tracker.scarywater.net:443, and a quick look at the data shows it was created using BitComet 0.93.

This looks like a BitComet only feature, to align file beginnings on chunk boundaries :

At the moment I have no intention of supporting this.
