Instead of using text messages in the status column, I think it will be better to use icons, so less width is wasted, given that width is what is most needed.

This could be used too in some column headers, like download speed, downloaded, uploaded, upload speed, leechers and seeders.

That's an option, maybe we will do this for the KDE4 version, of course it depends if we can find some good icons for this.
