hi everybody!

I tried to make RSS plugin work on a private tracker.
on uTorrent it's made by entering
http://torrentsite.com/rss.xml:COOKIE:u ... 37h1ngl0ng
as URL but it just won't work on kTorrent
however, just the url http://torrentsite.com/rss.xml donloads the feed, but no torrent downloading allowed then

can it be a client related problem? maybe it cuts the end of the pass? ('cause it's real long)

thanks in advance

This probably a µTorrent only feature. I'll talk to the author of the RSS plugin, to see if we can add this feature.

Ktorrent RSS uses the cookies saved with Konqueror. To make it work with the cookie from a private tracker you have to:

- Close Ktorrent
- Open the private tracker with Konqueror
- Set the usual option for session expiration to "Never": this option depends on the site, but it has the aim to create a session cookie that never expires
- Login
- Close Konqueror WITHOUT logging out from the site.
- Open Ktorrent again (now you SHOULD be able to download the torrents via RSS from the private tracker)
