The one reason I stick with Azureus is it is the only torrent client that has an Autospeed plugin. It works in 'classic' mode by pinging a predetermined IP and when the ping reply is higher than desired, it will start dropping my upload rate by 2k/sec until the ping rate stabilizes.
Without this feature, I am forced to set my up limits to be very low (as line stability is dynamic on my ISP service). The autospeed plugin monitors and adjusts for me every few seconds. Can we not get this sort of feature in KTorrent?? |

This is the only reason keeping me using Azureus. I really hope something like this could be implemented in ktorrent.
I've tried switching to ktorrent several times, but then I need to keep manually adjusting the upload limit whenever fast torrent is downloading. I have to set the upload cap to almost half of what I would use when only seeding, otherwise it kills my download and browsing speeds completely. |
