Fiddling with all torrent sockets

Sun Nov 18, 2007 10:27 pm
Is there a class hiding somewhere that represents sockets used for uploading/downloading torrents and nothing else? I am working on a research project and need to set a socket option for torrent sockets (possibly depending on a per-torrent UI option, depending on how far I get) without interfering with other uses of sockets. It is not at all clear to me that BufferedSocket or Socket are used *only* for downloading torrents. Thanks!

P.S. If no such class exists, is there a single class that is responsible for creating sockets for torrents?

BufferedSocket is only used for bittorrent connections, in the future this will change when I get around to implementing webseeding in the KDE4 version.
