2.2.4 is out, this fixes a crash in 2.2.3 and some other minor stuff. There are also some improvements made to the webgui.

Fantastic, Ubuntu packaging in progress

Package has been uploaded to Hardy. Will be officially backported to Gutsy, Feisty in due time.

For those extremely eager to get the new version, http://jdong.mit.edu/~jdong/motu/ktorre ... 1_i386.deb is my unofficial build from Hardy sources for Gutsy i386. Let's not post this on the front page and wait for the due process for official builds to go through.

Any ideas ? It's a 32-bit fedora system, and I built from the downloadable ktorrent-2.2.4.tar.gz.

ubuntu update: packages accepted into Gutsy and Feisty backports repo. Enable Backports for these packages!

It looks like this is a bug in msgfmt which is used in Fedora (and derivatives). Deleting that line will make it compile again.

Same problem on Ubuntu (edgy ).
Deleting the line worked fine

hullo.. i am getting this same error trying to compile 2.2.4 on a mythdora distribution... i cant work out which file to edit [after some searching through a few of the more obvious ones' imo at least] can someone pls point me in the right direction pls?
