I used the instructions found on this forum to install KTorrent for KDE4.
I was successful (that's amazing. You should be doing a very good job !! but I miss all the plugins.
As I'm translating the *.po files into french, it would be very useful if you can post the instructions to build the plugins. I didn't find them.

They should be compiled and installed, try this :

export KDEDIRS=$KDEDIRS:/prefix/where/you/installed/it
kbuildsycoca4
ktorrent

And then they should be loaded

You were right !
In fact, the plugins appeared only when I was logged as root but not as my regular user account.
After doing kbuildsycoca4, all was fine.

Don't even think about running ktorrent as root.
